At On Compte, you will be responsible for a variety of traditional accounting tasks such as monthly closing, reconciliation, journal entries, etc. But make no mistake: On Compte is not a traditional accounting firm and we take pride in offering our clients a service that goes beyond simple bookkeeping. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including financial data entry, record keeping, and banking operations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Prepare tax returns and government reports in accordance with current regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Collaborate with other team members to solve accounting issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
- College diploma (DEC) in accounting or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks platforms.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
